Cozy cottage is close to skiing, downtown Boone, and Blowing Rock. You'll love the quiet neighborhood and mountain charm. You will have the entire basement (minus pottery studio) to yourself. A Keurig and French press are available for use and coffee, creamer and light breakfast items are provided. Listing price includes 2 people. A third may be added for $20/night. 3 people is the max. This is not a pet friendly property, and exceptions will not be made. Children under 12 are NOT allowed.

Conveniently located near Banner Elk and Valle Crucis, we are close to shopping or the slopes. We are adjacent to 450 acres of forest that is part of the Blue Ridge Conservancy, offering hiking trails to the public. We invite you to stay in our beautifully remodeled apartment in the lower level of our home in the heart of Valle Crucis (we live upstairs). Guests have exclusive access to the patio and deck just outside the suite with the most spectacular views in the area. Enjoy meals on the patio while overlooking Dutch Creek and the surrounding mountain views. We've lived here for 47 years and remodeled the lower level in 2020 to allow us to share this special place with others!
