Watch all the action on the water right out the front door with local waterman in and out of beautiful Carter's Creek to and from the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. There are marinas and The Tides Inn very close by. This property provides privacy and a short 10 minute drive to nearby restaurants and shops in Irvington, Kilmarnock, and White Stone.

House address is 520 Paynes Creek rd. Down sandy road house is to the left. Last house on road. Comfortable cottage on Paynes creek going out to Rappahannock River. 1 bedroom with queen sized bed and sofa that folds out to a full sized bed in the living room. House has high speed fiber internet. There is a dock with crab pots to use. Crab season Is May 15 - Nov 15. No crabs outside of those dates. Please do not use boat. It leaks. It's not safe. 7812 River road is laundromat. Use front door.

The bathroom which is located on the first floor. Apartment is up a flight of stairs above the garage. Plenty of parking. EV charger available. We have self check in and the host is extremely flexible.. We welcome all tenants! The Birds Nest is a perfect getaway destination for relaxing and fun.

Located in Water View, Virginia this cozy river cottage lives up to the name! Beautiful sunsets, great for kayaking etc., this home is located right in Parrots Creek and opens up to the Rappahannock river. Often times in the summer dolphins and their babies visit the creek and river to feed. Paddling or boating with them is one of the best experiences! It is quiet and relaxing - feels like you’re a part of the natural surroundings.

If your looking for a quiet place in a wooded setting, this is it. Cabin has view of private 7.5 acre pond, deck and walking trail to the scenic Dragon Run, with canoe portage. You are welcome to bring your canoe/kayak. Bird watchers, wildflower enthusiasts will enjoy what the Dragon Run has to offer. If shopping or history is your interest, this cabin is only 45 min away from Williamsburg, and will give you a place to relax.
