The yurt sits in its own private space in the forest. Visit the farm animals, historic barn and vegetable gardens. Fire pit, outhouse with compost toilet, outdoor solar shower, gas grill and yurt woodstove. Visit the quaint towns of Grass Lake and Chelsea or go swimming in one of several nearby lakes. Mountain bike and hiking trails close by.

The entire home has been remodeled and features a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops. There is a nice sandbar a short paddle from the house. *“Half” bedroom is a loft bed on second floor.

Our property is the perfect place to start your paddling adventure with lots of nature to experience! We are in the heart of the Pinckney Recreation Area, home to the Potawatomi Trail. Great for biking, hiking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. The perfect place to sit, relax, and watch the sunset.
