Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. A private and rural location in the pretty village of Wedmore makes this the perfect location to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside and historic towns and villages in the area. Wedmore is situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels, and is close to three incredible nature reserves as well as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. This is a great place for bird watchers and wildlife lovers, with excellent opportunities for walking and cycling right from the front door!

Luxurious and stylishly converted hideaway for two. This romantic retreat is set in a peaceful rural location, just a five minute walk from the centre of the village. The emperor bed, roll top cast iron bath, inglenook fireplace with cosy log burner and window seat provide the ingredients for a relaxing and memorable holiday. As we’re in a lovely countryside setting, you may spot some of our little neighbours such as spiders or other harmless insects who also enjoy the peace and quiet here.

Further afield, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and the sea are all within easy reach. Delightful country cottage in a farm setting. Private garden with hot tub, firepit, BBQ and relaxing chairs. Cosy wood burner for chilly evenings. Beautiful and tranquil location set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Access to miles of footpaths from the front door, including the West Mendip Way. Close to Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Bath, as well as many other beauty spots and attractions. A good selection of pubs and restaurants, some accessible on foot. Up to 2 dogs are welcome.

Doris our shepherds hut

Doris our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Daphne and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Daphne our other hut is also in the paddock.

Hatherlow is a spacious 4-bedroom 145m2 home on a quiet no-through road offering comfort and style for families, couples, and groups, large or small. Views from the rear garden are over open fields while the front garden is shielded by trees lending a heightened sense of privacy and serenity. There's a large deck with gas-fired barbecue (for alfresco dining) two lawns, a hammock, large patio, and a 15 m2 summerhouse for yoga, games, quiet reading, Internet surfing and/or streaming.
