The Harty House - Walking Distance to Downtown!

The Harty House is a charming 2/1 cottage built in 1916. It is an easy two block stroll to the historic Georgetown square where you will find restaurants, wine bars, craft beers, live music, shopping, arts and theater. Very close to Southwestern University and a short bike/walk to City parks/recreation. Just a short drive to Austin if you want to experience music/film festivals, Formula 1 Racing, or the hill country. The home is furnished with all things necessary for a delightful stay.

The Palette Pad isn't just a cabin—it's a piece of Texas history. Originally built as the art studio of C. P. Montague, one of President Lyndon B. Johnson's favorite artists, this inspiring space is where she painted hundreds of Texas landscapes overlooking Scurlock Farms. Many guests tell us that after reading C. P. Montague's story and seeing her artwork throughout the cabin, The Palette Pad feels much more than a place to stay—it becomes part of the experience.

The cabin grounds feature a serene koi pond and hot tub. Seasonal fire pit - removed during summer and burn bans. 5 minutes to HighPointe Estate and close to many other wedding venues. The Shangri-Lodge is a bright, roomy, 700 square foot, one bedroom guest cottage on our 10-acre property. We're just a couple miles from Southwestern University and historic downtown Georgetown, with easy access to the 130 tollway for guests who want to travel into Austin quickly.
