Sundari Retreat

Serene and welcoming,Sundari Retreat was built in 2008 and is close to all amenities in Otaki. My home is bordering a very pretty farm and is sunny and private. Sundari is a self contained cottage on my property and is decorated in Balinese style with a bamboo ceiling and solid timber floors. The furnishings and artwork are also Indonesian as is the sub-tropical garden and deck area. Two minutes drive away are all the cafe's, restaurants,shops and heated swimmimg pool. You will find a boutique movie theatre in Waikanae, 15 mins drive from Otaki. 5mins walk to Skintech Beauty clinic for great massages/nails etc. 10 mins drive to Te Horo , head towards the beach and you will find Kirsty's bus stop cafe in Sims Rd. The bus is situated amid a gorgeous coastal garden. Kirsty is an ex deli owner and caterer. I guarantee you won't be able to resist her treats! Head off to the beach,walk in the bush,play golf, go mad in the outlet shops or do nothing at all! What ever you need to relax and spoil yourself, the choice is yours! Soak in the outside bath under the stars! Fabulous brick outside fireplace is also great for cosying up to under the stars. If there are 3 of you I do have a very comfortable retro caravan on the section that can be hired for an extra cost. That person would have to use the studio bathroom facilities. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. The Gatehouse - vintage cottage with rural views

Relax on the window seat with views over farmland in this charming vintage cottage. The deck is a sunny peaceful spot for morning coffee and, at night, for taking in the stars of the internationally renowned Wairarapa Dark Sky. The plumpy fireside sofa is perfect for sinking into with a glass of wine. The Gatehouse is only six minutes drive from Martinborough and 11 minutes to Greytown. It has two bedrooms with queen beds, a kitchen/dining space and bathroom with high pressure shower.

Swan Lake Gardens Country Cottage.

This cottage is situated in the country in a farm setting.We are 2 kms from the Airport and on the road to Gladstone vineyard . It is a 5 min drive to the Kuripuni shopping complex with many restaurants, a movie theatre and a supermarket on hand . The gardens are open to our guests where you will enjoy seeing the mute swans and other birds including a pet peacock. This cottage is not suitable for young children we have farm machinery and large open water spaces on the property.

Hamden Estate Cottage

Enjoy a stay on our Martinborough vineyard. The cottage is nestled amongst the vines and offers a peaceful retreat from the city. We are 8 kilometres from the centre of Martinborough heading south on the way to Lake Ferry. You can enjoy a leisurely wine tasting at our cellar door with David who is always happy to talk wine. We will also transport you to Martinborough so that you can spend the day investigating local wineries or dine at one of the town's fine restaurants.

Cosy caravan amongst the trees

Set within 6 acres of farmland this 1977 caravan with a conservatory is a comfortable spot to get a taste of rural life, while only being 7 minutes away from the heart of Lower Hutt. As local beekeepers, we'll have honey and farm eggs from our chickens ready for you on arrival. This space is ideal for 2-4 but can work for 6 people. We’ve found it works well for families as well as adults. However, many budget savvy adult groups love it as they are happy in a smaller space.
