When our daughter left her flat around the back of our house, her two little cats were so upset. She couldn’t take them with her because she lives in a busy part of Edinburgh . We thought that renting her flat out would give them the company they love. They are friendly cats that will love having you to stay. Ferry terminals to Dunoon and Rothesay 5 minute drive and Isle of Arran ferry 30 minute drive.

There's a lovely shingle beach at the foot of the lane and miles of secluded forest walks and cycle rides on the doorstep - the perfect base to escape the crowds and enjoy the beautiful west coast of Scotland.

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.

It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains.
