Shouse ~ combination of a shed & house, off the grid style. Located on a peaceful lifestyle block, make the most of a quiet location with the feeling of being off the grid with no wifi or tv. Situated 3km from town on our rural lifestyle block, making the most of the views of Lake Te Anau. The shouse has all the necessities needed, a living area, kitchen, bathroom, sleeping area is upstairs in an open mezzanine style room (please note a lower ceiling) and slightly steeper and narrow stairs.

Enjoy a soak gazing at the view, a little luxury to outdoor life on a NZ sheep farm.

With the famous trout fishing river the Waikaia River just a short (800m) walk from the doorstep, it's easy to take some time out for a fish or a walk. Waikaia and Piano flat are just up the road. Piano Flat is a hidden gem with the locals as some of the best hunting, fishing, walks and many more activites of the area.

Situated 10 mins from the township of Winton, central Southland. We are a sheep and crop farm, good views over the paddocks from the hut deck. All the basics you need, bed, chair, table, kitchen, bathroom and then your own outside eating area and bath on the deck under the veranda. Close to Lumsden township where you can stop for coffee at one of the cafes and stock up on amenities.
