Hockey Hut

Hockey Hut is a cosy, clean, self contained and comfortable hut it has everything you need for a cosy stay. We offer a variety of cereals, breads, tea and coffee for breakfast. Franz Josef township is a 10 minute walk away or a 2 minute drive. Relax and enjoy the beautiful native surroundings. We are at the far end of Cron street, straight past the hot pools, then past the medical centre until you see our red Maori Pau (red carving) then turn right up our drive. We are 116 Cron street.

Boujee studio with lake/mountain views

"Boujee" is a recently built, delightful self-contained studio with a kitchenette, offering a cosy retreat for couples or singles. Nestled just minutes by car from the village centre and iconic Church of the Good Shepherd, it promises warmth and tranquillity amidst breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Step outside to enjoy the serene beauty of Lake Tekapo, with its clear skies for stargazing. Boujee offers the perfect base for exploring beautiful Lake Tekapo and the Aoraki/Mt Cook area.

OCEANSIDE RETREAT

A beachfront studio unit sleeping 5 on the same large rural beachfront property as Penguins Retreat and Whitebait Cottage. The sleeping area of the large unit is divided into two so that the queen bed and the second area with another queen bed and single bed have visual privacy but the wall does not go to the ceiling We do not live on the property so this place suits independent travellers who have a car, wanting to spend time on a west coast beach. Only 3 minutes drive to Hokitika township.

Castle Hill Studio

Castle Hill Studio has everything you need after a day exploring the nearby Ski fields, Craigieburn trails, Cave Stream, and Kura Tawhiti Rocks from your doorstep. Spacious, with a full kitchen and laundry, the ground floor Studio has its own private entry. Secure bike or ski storage are availible by arrangement. New Black Diamond Mondo bouldering mats are available for our Bouldering guests to hire. While the studio is spacious, it is best suited to 2 singles or 1 couple with young children.

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with filtered water in the room and a microwave for heating your pre cooked meals. On site parking and outdoor seating to enjoy our beautiful sunsets. There is a takeaway/dairy close by as well as Hotel/ Restaurants all just a short drive or cycle. An easy 15 minute drive from Murchison at the convergence of the Tutaki you will find Mangles Valley Paradise. Surrounded by stunning native bush clad hills the property is situated in an elevated position enjoying spectacular 360 degree views with the Tutaki River flowing gently below. A short drive over the Braeburn Track will take you to beautiful Lake Rotoroa in the heart of the Neson Lakes. If you want to wake up to the sound of the river & native birds - this is the place for you.

Sunset Chalet is a cosy one bedroom Chalet, self contained with bathroom, shower and kitchenette. One comfy queen bed, patio /deck and seating. Perfect for a couple. Only a short walk to the town centre, shops, bars and restaurants as well as the Church of the Good Shepherd, Lake Tekapo, Dog statue and the walk bridge. Shared lawn and garden with Lakeview Cottage on the bank of the Tekapo river where the view of Lake Tekapo is outstanding. Loved by almost all our guests for what it is.

Take a Break in the Country - 1 Bedroom Apartment

This apartment is situated 5 minutes off Inland Scenic Route 72 and less than 20 minutes from the friendly farming village of Geraldine. Use the apartment as a launch pad to local activities in Peel Forest (horse treks and bush walks), Lake Tekapo (ice skating, snow tubing, day spa and hot pools), Mt Cook (beautiful scenic walks and helicopter rides), or just a place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of town. We are a working farm running cattle, chickens and 1 dog.

Riverstone House

Riverstone is situated on a semi rural lifestyle block on the banks of the Taramakau River, halfway between Greymouth and Hokitika, with a stunning view of the river and historic rail bridge. You would be the only guests staying on the property and will have your own private entrance, lounge/dining area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, laundry and outdoor area. We live in a completely separate and blocked off area of the house, and there are no shared spaces.

The Boat Studio

Come and enjoy our beautiful second story private studio with impeccable views of the West coast. This unit features your own modern kitchen, balcony, and stunnig picture frame window to spend some much needed relaxation time in front of enjoying a book or watching the birds fly by as you stare out at the ocean's horizon. Beach walks, sunsets, jet boating, trout fishing, helicopter flights, hiking paths plus ocean & surf on the doorstep.
