Relax with the whole family at our completely remodeled home located in Fairhaven’s best kept secret West Island. West Island has the most beautiful sunsets, stunning views, and amazing beaches. You have access to a private beach a block away or the town beach less than a mile away. Nearby is a shell fishing area, and marina with a restaurant right up the road. We are a short drive to the ferry where you can catch the boat to Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, and even Block Island.

Our place is a short walk to shopping and restaurants, and features: - Private entrance - Kitchenette - Remodeled backyard with turf - Minutes from ferry to Martha’s Vineyard & Nantucket - Under 10 min from the NEW train (T) to Boston With so much to explore (30min to PVD, Newport, Cape Cod), we recommend renting a car. There is limited public transportation. Notes: On-street parking & the stove is a 2-burner electric hot plate.

Thimble Cottage

My place is close to Tabor Academy, Sippican Harbor, Marion Village and Town playground, Beverly Yacht Club, the beach, parks, art and culture, restaurants and dining. Pedestrian friendly sidewalks! You’ll love my place because it is a quaint New England seaside cottage with nooks and gardens, super cozy and known locally as the Thimble Cottage. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids) and Tabor Academy visitors.

Misty Bay Cottage is home to 3 spacious bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms and an open concept living space. It is very homey and cottage like, located only a 5-minute walk to the most beautiful town beach on West Island. BBQ outside on the patio and enjoy yourselves in the oversized backyard. Find the tastiest seafood restaurant "Off the Hook" just a 3-minute drive away. West Island is the ultimate summer oasis for friends and family to gather.
