Walks onto the moors from the front door , seating area outside to watch the sun go down with a large glass of wine, welcoming family pub across the road, Co-op, and fine dining pub also in the village. Train station to Whitby from the village. We welcome two dogs at the Nest.

Very small tiny little 1 Bedroom cottage in the heart of Yorkshire moors, with many original features . Comfortably sleeps two. Perfect for a little getaway with no phone internet or television. Pub over the road, lots of walks and activities in the Moors National Park. Seventeen miles to Whitby and the coast. Please note the cottage is very small the living room is 2.75mX 3.4m with a kitchen 2mX1.14m. Bedroom is 2.8mX 2.65m. Please note ceiling height to beams in bedroom is 1.88m.

Crumbleclive Cabin

Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway to recharge the batteries!

Our Annex is a popular stop off for people walking the coast to coast. We are also very close to some great pubs and restaurants.

Nestled in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors on our 100 acre Jacob Sheep Farm, close to the villages of Danby (3.9 miles) and (Castleton 3.7 miles) We are nothing like a hotel but instead offer quirky, comfortable, open plan, home from home accommodation in a tranquil setting. Arriving on foot, it is fully equipped with everything you might need. Close to Danby Castle wedding venue. We welcome all family pets and have plenty of fields for off lead exercise.

The CowByre Level access throughout. Sleeps up to 5 guests, 1 double room (Kingsized bed), 1 triple - a bunk and a single bed. The cottage has a walk in wet room. The kitchen offers a slimline dishwasher, hob, oven, integrated fridge, integrated freezer, toaster and microwave. The accommodation has underfloor heating throughout. Outside the cottage has a patio seating area, accessible ramp, fire pit. We have an onsite laundry which guests can use.
