A home away from home 5 bedroom Bach, includes 4 bedrooms with king mattresses & a bunk room with 4 king single mattresses & 2 single trundler beds. This Bach is designed to relax and unwind-perfect for a large family or two families to enjoy a break away. Lovely indoor/outdoor flow onto sun drenched decking. Lazy 300m walk to amazing white sandy surf beach/kids playground. smart TV (Netflix etc) , EV Charging (15a/3kw), Wifi. A/C in main living area. Nespresso coffee machine (BYO "pods").

The Beach Hut Whiritoa

Our beach bach (kiwi slang for "holiday house") is all about kicking back. Nestled only 300m walk from the pristine shoreline of Whiritoa Beach, our tranquil beach hut (a large Queen studio space equipped for 2 adults) invites you to escape. Take a long soak in the wood-fired hot tub after spending the day exploring the beach. (PLEASE NOTE that the hot tub is not available between 25th Dec to 7th Jan) down the end of a long, quiet driveway. Come and experience this special part of New Zealand.

Waikaukau Farms Overlooking Whangamata

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Secluded with amazing views yet still only 15 minutes to cafes, restaurants, golfing, surfing and swimming on one of New Zealand’s most iconic beaches. Set on 30 hectares of regenerating natives and pasture, Waikaukau farm grazes Red Devon cattle and Whiltshire sheep. Leave the highway and take the 5km drive up the private gravel forestry road thru farmland to reach this private sanctuary. The barn style dwelling is yours to enjoy

Nautilus House

Welcome to Nautilus House, our beautiful family beach house across the road from the beach. Watch the sunrise & sunset while you enjoy dinner & drinks on the deck in our quiet cul de sac. Walk down to the ocean for a swim in the lagoon or sea. Walk over the hill to secluded beaches and rock pools at Waimama Bay. In winter snuggle up next to the warm gas fire & play board games or cards. Nautilus house was built for our beloved parents in 1979 for their family to enjoy.

Rest at Rahu

Escape to "Rest at Rahu," a serene haven, surrounded by lush greenery. You're spoilt for choice with excellent dining options 10-20 minutes away and Waihi Beach just a 25-minute drive, indulge in relaxation. Explore Karangahake Gorge walkways 5 minutes down the road. Return to bask in peaceful ambiance, whether in the outdoor bath, on the deck, by the fire, or stargazing from the hammock. It's a special retreat to recharge, create lasting memories, and really relax.

Te-Ana Dome

Escape to a lovely tranquil setting in this romantic eco based retreat surrounded by nature situated only 1.5 hours from Auckland. Perfect in any weather. Situated at the start of the Kauearanga Valley with numerous bush walks and river swimming nearby. Close to the rail trail for biking or into town for a coffee. Maybe have a spa while watching the sunset over the hills, sit on the deck reading, or toast marshmallows over the gas firepit. Glamping at its best.

Big Red

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Big Red is set on farm land with access to a native bush walk which reveals a waterfall and a swimming hole for those wishing to explore. If it's relaxation you're after then Big Red provides outside seating and dining to capture the sun and then watch it go down in the west. For those colder months the fire place enables you to snuggle up and view the outside environment from the comfort of the lounge.

Located directly in front of the council reserve and sand dunes. Set on a quiet cul de sac and toasty warm with a large heat pump for winter and outdoor shower in summer. Swim in the sea and then have a wine on one of the large deck spaces. So much to offer from this beachfront property.

Relax with extensive views out toward the harbour and Coromandel ranges from the open plan living and kitchen. A great place for a wine or tea watching the sunset. We have luxury bedding and finishings throughout, plenty of space for two families, central air con in all rooms, and the practical elements of a home that we use ourselves.

Unplug and unwind: Peaceful nights and outdoor adventure await. Perched above the breath-taking Karangahake Gorge, this retreat includes a restored train carriage, cosy cabin and twin outdoor baths. Explore nearby bush walks and cycle the Hauraki Rail Trail. 2 Bikes and 2 kayaks available to borrow. Watch the sunrise from the deck and unwind in nature. Perfect for couple getaways or for solo travellers needing a quiet reset.

Whiritoa is a small village on the Coromandel Peninsular. The area is beautiful with bush walks, the sea (great for swimming or surfing), a lagoon which is great for the kids. Our Bach is spacious and can comfortably accommodate 10 people over 5 bedrooms. A great kitchen, two bathrooms, Deck and Lounge with TV, Internet and Chromecast - we have everything you need!

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac ( Hinemoa rd ) right in the heart of the popular north, or " main end ." BEHIND THE HEDGE features art by local artists and a bespoke interior fit out.
