Thompson Cabin- Lake Front

Come stay at our newly remodeled family lake cabin located on Cain Lake. Extra love was put into this place as it has been passed down the generations. Open concept from the kitchen to the dining room into the living room overlooking the lake. Extra family room perfect for game night. Venture outside to the large deck surrounded by bliss. Take it all in down at the large dock with views of the rest of the lake. This cabin is not perfect but is dear to our heart so please treat it like your own.

Rustic Retreat

Quiet, private, secluded home on 25 acres of forested land. The home was built from logs milled on site. Enjoy filtered spring water, natural light, stargazing, & views of the tops of Mount Baker and the Sisters on a clear day. Owls and Elk can be heard during the evening hours at certain times of the year. Heat is provided by a wood stove and 3 space heaters. Mount Baker is 1 hour away; Bellingham is 30 minutes. Well-behaved, house trained, and supervised pets are welcome with a per pet fee.

Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Heron's Nest Botanicals

We offer a Holistic experience of connection with true Nature and wish that our guests are sensitive to the beautiful energy that surround our property. We have 26 acres of beautiful woods and wetlands in the foothills of the North Cascades. The Samish River runs through the property, which provide excellent bird-watching vistas. Our yurt has no power, but lanterns, a fireplace, and great reception. Our newly built bathroom has hot water and electricity where you can charge your devices.

About 20 minutes to Bellingham, Sedro Woolley, and Burlington, 15 minutes to Galbraith Mountain, and an hour to Mt. Baker. 20 minutes to popular Bow/Edison. Plenty of hiking and mountain biking around!
