From the spacious kitchen to the 3 comfy queen beds and the bunk room, to the wonderful fireplace, to the cozy separate sitting areas, to the living room with cathedral ceiling, to the huge front porch and the back yard fire pit... we love visiting our sweet place in Wilmington/Whiteface. We know you will too! Note: We absorb the cleaning fee! Guests should leave our home as clean and tidy as possible.

Adirondack getaway w/trails, hot tub and sauna

My house is tucked in the woods. I'm the last house on my road that is a dead end. With very few neighbors it is a very private location in the heart of the Adirondack mountains. I'm only 20 min from lake placid and Keene and 10 min from whiteface mountain. I'm 10 min lake Everest and and the Ausable. 20 min from mirror lake. Right out the back door there is hiking , skiing, snow shoes trails. There are 2 peaks that can be reached out my front door, Clarke mtn and Hamlin mtn.

Silver lake is a private lake approximately 3.5 miles long end to end with perimeter shoreline of 13+miles. Nice for swimming, fishing, paddling and relaxing lakeside.

This cabin sits in the heart of the Adirondack mountains and is minutes to outdoor adventure of all kinds! Only five minutes to Whiteface Mountain and less than 15 minutes to downtown Lake Placid, the convenience of the location is key for both outdoor enthusiasts and those looking to just getaway and relax in nature. The Ausable River and Lake Everest are both within walking distance.

In the winter fire up the pellet stove and get cozy. 15 minutes to Whiteface and Keene and 25 Minutes to Lake Placid.
