The Burlington Hotel & Bar was built with 12 sleeping rooms for railroad workers in 1891. Located in Alma along the Mississippi River and still along active railroad tracks, it was added to the National Register of Historical Places in 1982. The hotel now features 5 bedrooms for up to 12 guests, a bar & a shop called 'Queen Bee Alma' offering crochet & craft classes. Location: 1/2 mile from the marina/beach, a few doors down from Kwik Trip, and a short walk to the bars & shops, downtown Alma.

Whalan Room @ Root River Inn Resort

This room, named after the smallest town on the Root River Trail, is our smallest room. Perfect if you just plan to sleep here an be out enjoying the day. There is a bench and a stool in the room. This room has a window overlooking main street. You can see the bike trail and the bridge from your room. Recline in your queen bed and watch the Roku TV where you can watch many free channels or log into your own services. This room has the sink in the room and toilet and shower in the bathroom.

Enjoy the most spacious and elegant room in this fully remodeled 1902 Queen Anne. This has long been the favorite room at the Tritsch House - the bathroom is just as big as the bedroom! Guests also have access to all of the main level common areas including the billiard parlor, living and dining rooms, and any one of the three porches. Two of these porches have Mississippi River views. Guests also love hanging out in the newly remodeled kitchen. Sorry, but microwave only cooking.

Spend the night at the Commerce Street Brewery! We have been welcoming guests to our brewpub and luxurious guestrooms since 1998. Built in a restored 1854 mining warehouse, history and charm abound.
