This family-size, fully-enclosed suite with a separate entrance from the host's attached house offers all the comforts of home within 15 min. of Minocqua, Rhinelander, and premier outdoor experiences- hiking, biking, fishing, boating. You'll find us tucked in the quiet woods of northern WI near the Brule River. We're remote enough to experience star-filled skies & fireflies, but not far from many premier attractions. Your space is a self-contained apartment on the lower level of our 2.5 story home. It features a private entry, queen-sized bed, kitchenette, lower level private deck, access our beautiful grounds & more! We're a family of artists who love to travel & to introduce others to our beautiful part of the world.

This architect-designed studio is bathed in natural light, with skylights and a breakfast nook with a wrap-around window. Featuring an upscale bathroom with a walk-in shower, this comfortable space has all the amenities perfect for a quick weekend getaway or a week-long business trip. The studio adjoins a house and is up a flight of stairs through a separate outdoor entrance. Located just up the hill—a 5-minute walk—to Downtown Middleton and a 15-minute drive to UW and Downtown Madison.

You'll love this place because of the spectacular views, horses, wildlife, fishing, hiking and hot tub for relaxing, a romantic getaway or simply just girl time. This spot is perfect for couples or solo adventurers! A unique suite is attached to an elegant vintage peg barn. Space for bringing horses, snowmobiles or ATV's since we have trails. A mile away from snowmobile trails and 25 mins from a State Park. Also, perfect for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Fire pit available.

The Loft at the Butler Place is a beautiful, quiet retreat set in the rural suburb of Sussex, just 30 minutes west of Milwaukee. The home is the 1846 homestead of the William Butler family, making the home older than the State of Wisconsin! The 2019 remodel of the Loft is in sophisticated farmhouse style and pays tribute to the history of the home in its furnishings, up cycled pieces, and beautiful setting. "Broken becomes blessed" both tells and compells as an invitation to all.

We’re located just outside of town with easy access to all that the beautiful Waupaca area has to offer. Only 10 minutes from the Chain! The property is surrounded by Maple and Oak mature forest yet has an open meadow perfect for picnics and star gazing. It is beautiful here; you can rest and recharge close to nature. Adventure Outpost is totally updated and designed for your comfort and convenience. The space is cozy, light and refreshing and big enough for the whole family!

Cozy Farmhouse Studio

The 16 X 19 foot private studio, is located on the second story of our 120 year old farmhouse and has a private entrance and drive. It is equipped with its own kitchen, bathroom, balcony, queen bed, couch and closet. Our farmhouse is located on five scenic acres adjacent to our pottery studio and gallery. Please be aware that we have no air conditioning. It usually cools off at night, so it’s not typically necessary. We have a ceiling and cooling fan for the hot days.

Studio on the Prairie Fen

Kick back and relax at the Studio! The Studio is a 400 sq ft unique suite in the lower level of our home. A private locked entrance opens up to a sunny space with great views of a wetland beyond the backyard. Private patio to enjoy morning coffee and the sunrise. A great place to unwind and enjoy nature's beauty! We have binoculars if you love bird watching, and bikes to ride or hike the Glacial Drumlin Trail just 0.1 mile from the front door. This cozy studio sits on the edge of the quiet Forest Park neighborhood just 2 minutes from Tribute Golf course and Gilbert Park & Boat Launch. It's 7 minutes from Downtown Wausau’s 400 Block with its quaint shops, restaurants and The Grand Theater! Plus, concerts in the summer and ice skating in the winter. Explore Granite Peak Ski Area and Rib Mountain State Park, just 15 minutes away! And both Aspirus and Marshfield medical facilities are within a few miles.
