YurtSimple is where life slows down and people unplug. It’s forest bathing in nature. It’s getting away from it all to spend time with a partner, by oneself, and sometimes with pets. You’ll be driving past YurtCation (about 300 feet past YurtCation) to get to YurtSimple. YurtCation is 20’ in diameter and YurtSimple is 16’ in diameter. Wood and charcoal are provided. Our little piece of heaven is located 9 miles NW of Viroqua, WI. Our yurt is nestled in 14 acres of red /white oak, walnut and maples above the Bad Axe River. The yurt is 300 sq. ft, comfortably sleeps 4, pet friendly and has a large wrap around deck. We have a wood burning stove, propane cooking stove top, a fully stocked kitchen galley, 8 gallons of drinking / cooking water, propane and fire pit grill, there's an extra deck with picnic table, manual shower and composting toilet.

Our yurt offers a sweet retreat in the woods about 10 miles outside of Bayfield. We are located on a small working organic farm with vegetable gardens, apple trees, and rustic accommodations. We are close to great outdoor recreation near Lake Superior and are about 6 miles from Meyers Beach in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Our property is located on 40 acres and is very remote. We are on the edge of thousands of acres of county land. The perfect escape!

To keep our rates low and your comfort high, this is a 'pack-in, pack-out' experience. Simply bring your favorite linens, pillows, and basic kitchen kit to complete your woodland home-away-from-home. Bathhouse facilities are just a short walk from your door. You will receive wristbands for amount of people on reservation. It gives them access to all amenities, pool, aqua park, mini golf. If extra people stay in the cabin wristbands are 10.00 for the extras.
