River Road Inn & Sweets - Private Suite

Located in a historical charming town 12 mi. south of Toledo, this 1890’s home provides the perfect guest accommodations for a relaxing get-a-way. A private electronic key entry leads to a second-floor suite with 2 Q-bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom w/ tub/shower, stool and sink. Guests are invited to unwind on the wraparound porch (May-October). Off-street parking is available for one car. Close to I-75, 80/90 and Rt 24. Sleeps 4 (ages 7 and up) and is not handicap accessible due to stairs.

"Hunter's Ridge" is one of 12 cabins my husband and I purchased in 1997. It is a small 3-room log cabin with a private, queen bedroom. The living area has a futon sofa bed and a small loft with a mattress. There are complimentary kayaks & canoes to navigate the islands and free bicycles for the wooded hiking trail. There is a kitchenette with the essentials. There is a brass hand-pump toilet and wooden tub with only a shower head to rinse off. There is a 2-person hot tub overlooking the river.

Second floor of a historic home built in the 1800’s. Above a quaint Tea Room. Private entrance, you will be the only guests. Access to Clara J’s Tea Room during operating hours. (Call to make a reservation if you would like Proper Tea Wednesday-Saturday) Walking distance from many shops, restaurants, bars, a movie theater, and our excellent Metropark! There is not a kitchen. There are NO cleaning fees. The exterior is currently being renovated, but this has no impact on your stay. (2024)

"Our Little House"

This is a great little house for coming to visit friends and family in the area or if you're just passing through. We do not have central air, but we do have a portable air conditioner unit in the bedroom which makes it cool and comfortable. A lot of people that stay call "Our Little House" a cottage. I think it could also be called "The Little Cottage on the Highway". We are located on a highway, but our little house sits back far enough that the highway has never been a problem, noisewise.

We are conveniently located just 3 minutes away from the 75/I80 interchange with several stores and restaurants just 1 exit away! We love our military so ask about our discount after booking!

Enjoy a quiet getaway in this second floor, one bedroom apartment. My wife and I take great pride in our homes and we live 200ft away. This is our first go with an AirBNB. Guests will be impressed with the cleanliness, coziness, and peace and quiet. We offer free wifi, private off-street parking, and well kept yards. Private apartment type space located on the upper floor of a detached garage. Patio space is available outside the entrance to the apartment. Located within 10 minutes of historic Grand Rapids, Waterville and Whitehouse Ohio and 30-40 minutes from Toledo. There are several Metroparks located within a 10 minute drive, and the Maumee River and the Maumee State Forest are also nearby.
