我們是位於陽明山，1950年代建造的美軍眷舍，是台北市文化局保存的118棟老房子中，唯一原貌、原材料保存，未經更動的老房子。這個房間有綠意盎然的山景，開窗就看見的是紗帽山，Butt Mountain. 房屋與山之間的是磺溪，春天經常可見到美麗的彩虹。因此這裏也叫作“彩虹谷”。附近還有步行可到的藍寶石湧泉，需要先向台北市水利局預約參觀。房源是全棟4個房間中的“臥室#2”，是2人的雅房。乾濕分離式衛浴設備是共用的，都是客制的雙人面盆組。廚房的部份，僅限簡易的加熱，不提供炊煮。費用不含正式早餐。透過工作假期，專題攝影，讓市民與國際友人都有機會參與保存歷史文化場景、建築維修保歡迎您的蒞臨與參與。入住這間歷史悠久的渡假屋，著迷屋內保存良好的古典的建築材料，和古董家具。像進入 Time capsule 一般，讓您瞬間回到過去。春季的鳥語花香，夏季入夜涼風中夜遊，雨季空氣中的負離子，冬季的燃木壁爐，是本房源的必住亮點。 *大面新作的門窗，通風良好，為了不讓空調設備剝奪人們呼吸清新自然空氣與芬多精的機會，在眾多慕名前來的客人的建議下，我們未裝設空調，也沒有電視，但有投影設備。
