The Lodge

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Situated in an out of the way location on the coastal path. Peaceful and secluded surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife including red squirrels. Ideal for walkers who enjoy nature and wildlife. There is a quiet beach in easy walking distance where you can find fossils, sea glass and an amazing array of seashells. Due to the out of the way location you ideally need transport to access the nearest shop and pub. 45 mins on foot/7 mins by car.

Walk out onto the New Forest, enjoy the scenic garden looking over fields packed with wildlife, or enjoy cycling along quiet lanes amongst grazing ponies, donkeys and cattle. Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. Modern purpose built self contained cabin, next to the house but with its own private entrance and private pergola area with canvas sides complete with cosy seating & lighting plus hot tub! Situated in East Cowes. The house was part of the Osborne estate so we are situated right next to Osborne House, also a 2 minute drive or 20 minute walk from East Cowes Red Funnel. We are also on a main bus route to Newport or Ryde. There is private access & your own parking space.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway! A period Arts and Crafts bungalow with a sunny, fenced, garden overlooking Freshwater Bay. You are welcome to bring your dog and walk from the front door in every direction to enjoy the West Wight. Enjoy a short stroll down to Freshwater Bay, continue further all the way to the Needles in one direction. Step out of the back gate and onto the bridleway leading over the downs to our favourite place, Compton Bay.

Emma’s Hut is a light and airy self contained bedroom with ensuite shower room and separate area with catering facilities. We are only 20 minutes drive from the Needles and even closer to Freshwater Bay and minutes from the Coastal Path. The historic town of Yarmouth has a great choice of places to eat, a Grade 2 listed pier a castle and fabulous views across the Solent. The ferry comes into Yarmouth from Lymington and is a short walk up the hill to our home.

Beau, Brambles Chine, Colwell Bay - WiFi & The Hut

Beau and Bay are two semi detached holiday bungalows, which have been completely refurbished. Each offering glimpses of The Solent and within a stones throw of the beautiful Colwell bay, with its beaches and eateries. The restaurant The Hut, is a 15-20 minute walk away. I have a limited number of discount codes for Red Funnel Ferries. I sometimes have discount codes for Wightlink Ferries, but these are usually only available during the winter.
