Our Shepherds Hut newly built in 2021 sleeps 2 people and nestles nicely into it's own private space just next to the house, which is in a gorgeous rural location in the heart of Snowdonia national park. This hut has electricity, central heating, and hot water making it a cosy and warm place to stay all year round. There is an outdoor firepit/BBQ with table and bench to sit and eat, where you can take in the beautiful view. It's a perfect location for keen walkers and popular area for cyclist's.

Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land.

A lovely, traditional Welsh-stone terraced cottage, Maesyffynnon combines modern, boutique facilities with original 19th century features. The property is superbly located in the delightful town of Dolgellau, situated between the mountains and the sea. Dolgellau sits in the south of Snowdonia National Park, in the shadow of the Cader Idris mountain range but is also just 8 miles from the sea . Great for mountain bikers, walkers and hikers, but also for families wanting outdoor experiences.

Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s a 300 year old cottage on the side of a mountain, space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

Cosy apartment in Dolgellau

Sŵn-y-Dŵr is located in the Snowdonia National Park and occupies a tranquil position in the historic market town of Dolgellau, renowned for its breathtaking views and scenic walks in the foothills of Cader Idris. The former coach house stands in private mature grounds, and is approached via a gated entrance and a sweeping gravel drive ascending to the property. It is a self contained first floor apartment, accessed via external steps to the rear of the building, that dates back to 1780.

Gwenlli Shepherds Hut

Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

Cosy Cottage in Dolgellau Snowdonia Nant Y Glyn

Nant Y Glyn is a charming, traditional Welsh stone cottage which was build in the early 1800s. We have updated the property to give it a fresh comfortable feel but have retained many original features. One of which is the splendid stone fireplace which now houses a log burning stove. The cottage is nestled within the old part of town, located on a quiet street and within a 2 min walk to the shops and restaurants. There is a small enclosed front patio area.

A 10 minute walk from Fairbourne with shops, pubs and it's narrow gauge steam railway, with bus and train services to take you to more local attractions in Barmouth, Dolgellau and Aberdovey.

The Woolly Wagon is our quirky sheep-themed shepherd’s hut, hand-built on the farm using British materials. It has a cosy double bed, sofa bed, full kitchen and ensuite shower room. You’ll sleep under a luxurious Baavet wool duvet made in nearby Porthmadog. Set in its own fenced dog-friendly area overlooking open fields, it’s a peaceful, romantic retreat with smart TV and fast WiFi.
