This iconic accommodation, located a few minutes from the city of Portalegre, will give you the opportunity to have a unique experience. It consists of two houses, a main house and a small cottage. You will be able to enjoy a private pool, outdoor bathtub, barbecue, and a wonderful swing to enjoy the late afternoon and watch the sunset. The accommodation is completely private, and when you book it, it is reserved exclusively for you and your family or friends. It is fenced in on all sides.

Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. It features a wood pellet stove for winter and a private outdoor pool for summer. It is the ideal place to take a break and relax, with the perfect balance of being close to everything yet far enough away at the same time.

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.
