A Capela - Converted 18th Century Chapel

Please see our House Rules before enquiries. Unfortunately no outside visitors or events or celebrations are allowed. Thank you. Stay in a beautifully renovated chapel, built in 1789. A Capela offers a private outdoor lounge area for guests’ exclusive use with mountain views of the Moorish Castle. 3 - 5 minutes walk to Sintra Station which is also the main meeting point for most sightseeing tours. We are within easy walking distance to all the beautiful quaint cafes, shops and restaurants.

The house has two floors. On the lower floor, there is a living room and dining area. We have a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, induction stovetop, microwave, kettle, toaster, and Nespresso coffee maker. There is also an adjoining room with an American-style refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. There is also a toilet on this floor. On the upper floor, there are three bedrooms and one full bathroom with a shower. The house has 90m2 (45m2 per floor) and a 340m2 garden.

Surrounded by golf camps, you will be close to historic monuments and the beloved cities of Cascais and Lisbon. Linger in the light-flooded living room or on the large sun terrace with breathtaking views. Quinta das Heras has the features of traditional Portuguese houses, and contains a familiar and calming energy with salt water swimming pool It is part of a rural setting, overlooking to Portuguese monuments ta UNESCO Heritage Site, Maurische Castle and Pena Palace. You can go on foot, taking a 30-minute walk to the center of Sintra, or by car, which takes 5 minutes to reach the center of Sintra, 10 minutes to the main beaches of Sintra , and 20 minutes to Lisbon and Cascais.

Centrally located, we’re just around the corner from some of the best restaurants and cafes in town, and only a 3 minute walk from the train station to Lisbon. There is also free parking on the street in front of the house.
