Dear people. I'am so lucky to live in my dreamhouse: a loft in an old sigar factory. The high ceilings and open space give an unique atmosphere. The house has an industrial look & feel but it's cosy and intimate at the same time. It's located in a quite street in the famous canaldistrict; it makes this spot the perfect base from where you can discover the city. Excellent bus connection to Amsterdam downtown ( 19 min.) 2 to 8 times an hour. Or to the main Subway hub in Amsterdam North ( 16 min) .The busstop is at less then 90 meters from the apartment. By car 19 minutes to central station. Exellent location for bicycling, the Beemster polder is just 500 meters away.

De Pijp has a high density of cafés, and many nice places to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is also a stone's throw from the river from which Amsterdam takes its name: the Amstel. Almost all museums such as the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum, canals and the city centre are all a short walk away.
