There's also a small unit including sink and drainer, mini fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster for your private use in the space. In warmer weather, enjoy sitting outdoors and exploring our local area, including the historic towns of Bishop's Castle & Montgomery - you are right on the border here in Snead ☀

The Old Grain Store Wales

Nestled in a quiet wooded valley on a field in Midwales you will find The Old Grain Store Wales. It has been renovated to a high standard, we have added lots of luxurious touches too. You can soak away your stresses in the private hot tub, enjoy a BBQ or toasting smores on the fire pit, which is situated on the bridge over the brook, enjoy reading a book in the king size bed with gorgeous views or relax on the sofa and watch the TV. We have a king size bed, double sofa bed and 1 single sofa bed.

The Summerhouse sits 250m from Offa's Dyke Path with access to miles of walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid-Wales. Balloon View

The Balloon Loft is set on the Welsh Border with stunning views of the Shropshire hills. The map shows the accommodation to be in Montgomery but it is about two miles from Bishops Castle. The Long Mynd, The Stiperstones and Offas Dyke path are all within 20 minutes drive of the loft and all offer wonderful views of Shropshire & Powys - perfect for a walking holiday. The accommodation is very rural but easily accessible and apart from the sheep or cattle the area is quiet and peaceful.

Greenacre Pod. Beautiful views with hot tub

Greenacre is a spacious Pod, set on a small family farm on the Welsh/English boarder, surrounded by rolling countryside and picturesque views. You can relax and unwind in our wood fired hot tub or sitting around our fire pit. We are 3/4 of a mile from the village of Sarn, 5 miles from Montgomery, 5 miles from Newtown, 10 to Bishops Castle, 18 Miles to the Long Mynd at Church Stretton, 29 to Shrewsbury and 44 miles to the beach at Aberdovey.

Flat 1 Porch house

One of two Beautiful apartments ( this one is on the ground floor but is up a couple of steps so it is probably unsuitable for wheelchairs) in the historic Porch House; a 16th century grade II* listed timber framed town house in the centre of Bishops Castle, opposite a pub with lively music nights. The apartment has a super king size bed and room to take bicycles in the anteroom. Apartment 2 is under a separate listing.

Cosy detached rural one bedroom cottage

Twlc Fach is a renovated detached former pig sty which acts as an annex to the main property. Consisting of a bright and airy kitchen/living area with a homely wood burner and under floor heating. The kitchen also includes an electric oven, grill and hob and fridge. The hallway leads to a bathroom with a separate shower and a double bedroom which includes fitted furniture.

The Garden House

Relax in our garden house in rural Shropshire. You'll be greeted by curious cats and chickens...and probably Allan and me. There's some fabulous walks, a lovely local and some pretty market towns all within easy reach. There's lots of interesting CDs to to play, is all we ask is that you return the CD to its case and to the appropriate place in the shelf.
