A 'Tiny House', off-grid Shepherd's Hut with panoramic views of the spectacular Brecon Beacons. Accessed by its own gated lane and set in a private paddock, "Oliveduck Hut" is the perfect retreat for couples, or singles who prefer their own company. An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

The Sage Hut - safe, private, warm and cosy

The Sage Hut is a traditional well-insulated structure set on a sturdy all-metal chassis and wheels. Double glazed windows & bed are new. It enjoys lovely views to the south with its own peaceful small yard/garden & private car parking space. There is mains electricity, hot & cold water; the shower/loo is approx 25m away. There is a guest fridge and microwave in the stable block. The woodburning stove is highly efficient. As are the large tower/desk fans for hot days. Continental breakfast.

Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Shepherds Rest is a newly refurbished and charmingly decorated 2001 registered Iveco stock lorry. Originally used to transport sheep from farm to farm, before retiring from duties hence where the name Shepherds Rest has originated from. It has been given a new lease of life offering a slightly different glamping experience, creating a warm, cosy and inviting place to stay. Situated overlooking the Black Mountains at the Southern tip of the Brecon Beacons National park on a working hill farm.

The shepherd's hut is situated alongside the 12th century Tretower castle on a working farm in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Outside there is a fire pit as well as a gas plancha for cooking.
