Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The walk to Crickhowell is 20 minutes. Perfect base to explore local area or for walking holiday in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.

There is a bedroom, living area, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with a walk-in shower. This is the perfect base for exploring Abergavenny and the surrounding areas. Come and stay in our brand new Annex which is nestled between the beautiful Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. Whether walking, cycling or fishing the Annex is ideally located between Crickhowell and Brecon. The open plan design includes a kitchen, lounge and bedroom with an ensuite shower room. The local village pub serves great food and is only a 5 minute walk away.

Old Salting Barn: Brecon Beacons Historic Cottage

The Old Salting Barn dates back to the 17th Century & forms part of a charming range of old farm buildings at Llandetty Hall Farm, situated in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. The barn was extended and refurbished in the summer of 2020. Set in 15 acres of private pasture on the Mon Brec canal.
