200 year old Gardener's cottage, Mid Wales

Dan y Coed means 'under the trees'. Our cottage has nestled under the wooded hillside of Tan yr Allt for 200 years. The cottage is on the outskirts of Llanidloes, a 10 minute walk to town. We pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and the cottage is equipped to a high standard. We welcome all people and well behaved pets (downstairs). We are a 2-minute walk from Llanbister Road train station on the scenic Heart of Wales line.We are on the 825 cycle route. Relax and unwind in this beautiful converted 1880s school. Plenty of original school features are still on display. Situated 15mins drive from the royal Welsh show ground in Builth, 15mins from Rhayader and the Elan Valley, 15mins from Spa town Llandrindod wells, just over an hour to Aberystwyth and west coast beaches, it is the ideal location! The house sits on the edge of a forestry leading up a hill with stunning views and lots of dog friendly walks/bike rides. Ideal for fishing in the Wye!

You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the peacefulness of been able to have the freedom to walk and explore our hills of mid wales, straight from your door..and only 45 mins to visit the seaside of Aberystwth.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
