Enjoy easy access to everything from this ideally located home based 3 mins walk from Caerphilly Castle. We have the beautiful Morgan Jones’ Park on our doorstep through which you can access the rear of the Castle grounds. A scenic walk around the grounds to the front of the Castle will bring you to the town centre where you’ll find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. We have 3 local train stations that take you into Cardiff City Centre, and bus stop outside the door to Caerphilly Station.

Breakfast basics are included with fresh eggs from our hens when available Please be aware that this is only accessible by a single tarmac track that winds up the mountain. The Bailey is a self-contained studio annexe with a private entrance at The Forge Lower Machen. With double bed, shower room, two comfy armchairs, dining area for two, outside seating area for two, wardrobe, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, kettle, toaster, small fridge and microwave. Travel cot available by request. Parking on site. Towels and bed linen provided. Situated just off the A468, very convenient but some noise from the road.
