The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Country Gem, Horses, Close to theme parks

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The cottage is handicapped friendly. We have available two ramps, elevated toilet and toilet chair, and hand bars. The shower has a shower chair, and pedestal sink. There are two sliding barn doors which will make the common areas into two semi private rooms. Check in is 3pm, check out is 11am. Canaveral National Seashore is 44 miles away. An island on the Atlantic Ocean, is a National Park.

Welcome to The Majestic River Garden. This charming cottage was built in 1945 before this era of cookie cuter homes where every house in the neighborhood looks the same. The home is at one of Floridas highest elevation points sitting 40ft above sea level which gives you an incredible view of the Indian River. If you look over the neighboring roofline you can spot NASA's VAB building. The home has original charm however does boast modern updated ceramic wood floor and a modern updated kitchen.

Even though we are secluded, we have all the comforts of home, from indoor plumbing and hot water to AC and Wi-Fi. Our TV has a Firestick, so bring your streaming accounts and relax night away after you retire from roasting Smores on the outdoor firepit. A fold out sleeper couch takes this from a 2 person cottage to 4 in just minutes. Parking is not an issue, even if you have a trailer.
