King Street is a charming cobbled street nestled in the heart of the city centre. Situated within the beautiful City Walls, guests will be able to access all that Chester has to offer including shops, restaurants, historic architecture and so much more. 29 King Street is a former Blacksmiths Cottage dating from 1773 so the property is full of character with a fascinating history. A peaceful retreat and a superb base for exploring our wonderful city, we hope everyone will enjoy their time here.

Oakley’s Retreat has been carefully renovated and has been furnished to a superb spec, small and perfectly formed including: an open plan lounge and kitchen with dining table; luxurious bedroom with king size bed, beautiful and spacious bathroom featuring double slipper roll top bath and double shower.

Stunning Views, Hot Tub, 5 minutes to Chester

Pipers Ash is a quaint small hamlet surrounded by green belt, set at the highest point of Chester next to the historical millennium beacon. Perfectly situated just two miles from the beautiful historic Chester city centre. Take a short car ride or just half an hours walk. Chester Zoo is just five minutes drive away. There are many lovely country walks and of course some fabulous country pubs. The trendy suburb of Hoole is only 15 minutes walk. Here you will find bars restaurants and shops.

Located in a peaceful rural hamlet, it's the perfect place to get away from it all, with country walks and cycles on your doorstep. Only a 20 minute drive from Chester and easily accessible for Manchester and Liverpool.

Charming Canalside Cottage

Our comfortable cottage has easy access into the heart of Chester. The garden gate opens onto the canal towpath with a ten minute stroll up to our local Cheshire Cat pub. Alternatively, stay in and snuggle up with the wood burner. On a fine day, turn left out of the back gate for a pleasant 35 minute walk, following the canal directly into the beautiful city of Chester. Maybe take a boat trip on the river Dee? Alternatively, Chester Zoo is just a 10 minute drive, continuing down the A41.

A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe

This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

Peaceful cottage & garden in Cheshire village

Fieldview Cottage is a charming 100 year old cottage in Comberbach village, a lovely semi-rural location surrounded by countryside and yet well connected, 4 miles from junction 10 on the M56, 35 mins to Chester and 30 mins to Manchester airport. The local pub is a 5 mins walk and serves great food. Popular Marbury Park is close by. The village has a post office offering local essentials. The Hollies Farm shop is close by and is a great local shop to stock up on all fresh groceries.

Roman Walls cottage is a unique one-bedroom cottage dating back to the 1800's. Located within the historic Roman walls on one of the most notable streets in Chester. The cottage is within walking distance to shops, restaurants/bars as well as to the Story House, Chester market, race course, river and cathedral. The cottage is full of character including low beamed ceilings, narrow spiral staircase and inglenook fireplace offering the perfect stay for two people.

Hope Cottage is a superb, newly renovated, self-contained, sandstone cottage with off-road parking, garden and fabulous views across the Sandstone Trail. With a strong french influence this 1-bedroomed property is an ideal getaway for a romantic break and an excellent base to explore Cheshire, North Wales and the beautiful local countryside. Located beneath Bickerton Hill, Hope Cottage is set in a small rural village. The cottage is NOT suitable for children.

Secure garden for children and dogs and a friendly welcome from me, Judy who lives next door. 2 miles from Cholmondeley, Peckforton, Bolesworth & Peckforton Castles, 7 from Oulton Park. Fab pubs/walking on the Sandstone Trail from the door step. Big news! It’s now possible to book Uber to and from Bulkeley, so much easier access than ever before.

Deluxe Wood Fired Hot Tub in our Cheshire Getaway

Pilgrim Cottage is surrounded by rolling countryside and a short distance from the peaceful and quant village centre of Tarvin. Our holiday home has kept some of the stunning and original period details such as the brick fireplace and ceiling beams. The cosy living space with wood burning stove provides the perfect place to socialise after a day of exploring, whilst the private wood-fired hot tub offers a relaxing and romantic escape under the stars.

Grooms Cottage - an idyllic Cheshire rural retreat

Grooms Cottage is adjacent to our home in the charming hamlet of Tiverton, near Tarporley, Cheshire. Built in the Victorian era, the cottage was accommodation for a groom to facilitate hunting and shooting parties from the hunting lodge and stables. Guests are provided with a breakfast welcome pack upon arrival consisting of Croissant, butter, Twinings tea, selection of Tassimo coffee pods, organic milk & Wilkin & Sons preserves, all sealed.
