If you want to lose yourself in the beautiful countryside of North Wales, then our cottage is for you. We have created a haven of tranquility to return to after a busy day sightseeing or to hide away in and relax if that’s what you’re looking for. All the seasons are beautiful here, spring and summer and autumn with their vibrant colours, a time for exploration, and in winter you can enjoy the pure air and wrap up warm for exploring, or just simply cosy up inside our lovely, comfortable cottage.

Cwt Blawd - Country Cottage.

There will always be a friendly welcome at Cwt Blawd, a cosy and stylish retreat on the hillside, overlooking the Clwydian Range. The historic market town of Ruthin is a mile away and holds a wealth of history with it's castle, and beautiful buildings. Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdon and Zip World only 1 hr drive away. Walks and cycle paths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

Stunning period Farmhouse in rural setting

Dating from 1762, this beautiful stone cottage is full of period features, beamed ceilings and a huge inglenook fireplace. Lovely rural hillside location in a courtyard setting, 2 miles from the main road along a country lane, but only 9 miles from Ruthin. Enjoy the lovely private garden, watch the birds or stargaze at night whilst sharing a bottle of wine in the 'Piggery'. Perfectly placed for all that North Wales has to offer. Great for couples, adventurers, families and dogs. Car essential.

Relax in your private quaint lakeside hut, and wake to natures glorious morning call and stunning view of Corwen and Dee valley and giant Berwyn mountains. Try wild water swimming, fly fishing, or kayaking, in the deep spring water lake. You and pets will be welcomed by somene in wellies with a strong Welsh accent and smile. Situated in the grounds of “Caerau Gardens”, a charming and unusual bolt hole for a couple. With under-floor heating, a Sauna and a full cinema system with screen and a stunning audio system from Monitor Audio. The surroundings are wonderful, we even have our lake for fishing, swimming or perhaps kayaking. Welcome to our converted loft. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Clwydian Hills from the balcony. During your stay enjoy use of the small orchard with picnic table. There is a parking space for one car. This is a perfect couples retreat. We are situated 2 miles from the delightful, medieval market town of Ruthin with it's historic buildings and castle, on a quiet country lane. There is a wealth of cycle routes and walking paths locally.
