There is WiFi in the room The kitchen and bathroom are shared. We also have laundry facilities. Pets welcome. Parking is available. Penrith is the ‘heart of the Lake District’ and a good place to start discovering this wonderful area. We are only minutes from M6 junction 40. We welcome cyclists and walkers. Run by Liz, alongside my husband Edward who manages the farm. Cragg House over looks acres of land occupied by livestock and panoramic views of the fells. The tranquil farm is only two miles outside of Bowness-on-Windermere. There are great local pubs and eateries and walks. There is even a golf course less than half a mile away.

A grade 2 listed Manor House, built in the 17th century, with plenty of eccentricity and old world charm. We are both experienced chefs and love to share the joy of our home grown & reared produce with our guests. We offer breakfast every morning at an additional £15/person and our 6 course small plates menu on Friday & Saturday evenings for £65/person.

Breakfast is provided for you in the utility room, you are welcome to use our dining room.
