A charming Grade II stone cottage with original features and south facing garden, near the centre of Dolgellau in Snowdonia National Park. This Victorian cottage is equipped for a family or group of friends, is pet friendly and is 2 minutes walk from the town amenities including shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. An excellent base for mountain biking in Coed-y-Brenin, biking or walking the easy-going Mawddach trail, exploring Snowdonia and visiting the stunning beaches of the West Wales coast.

Easy access to mountains, hills, lakes, rivers, castles, the coastline & the Mach Loop, Dolgellau is truly the 'gateway to Snowdonia' and this apartment would ideally suit hikers, bikers, history lovers and watersports enthusiasts. Unfortunately, we cannot yet accommodate pets and as we have only one double bed, the accommodation suits adults. As a first floor apartment the stairs may be difficult for some guests.

Chester House is an ideal base for groups of hikers, mountain bikers or families wanting to explore Snowdonia. Dolgellau is a pretty little town, sitting in lovely walking country beneath the Cader Idris mountain range. The sea, and some delightful beaches are just down the road, too! There are lots of restaurants/cafes, pubs and supermarkets within a 5-minute walk.

Sŵn-y-Dŵr is located in the Snowdonia National Park and occupies a tranquil position in the historic market town of Dolgellau, renowned for its breathtaking views and scenic walks in the foothills of Cader Idris. The former coach house stands in private mature grounds, and is approached via a gated entrance and a sweeping gravel drive ascending to the property. It is a self contained first floor apartment, accessed via external steps to the rear of the building, that dates back to 1780.

Mill House is a beautiful family-owned old stone cottage, set down a lane in lawns by a river in the tiny hamlet of Dolserau. It is a peaceful location, surrounded by beech woods yet only 7 mins by car to the pretty market town of Dolgellau in North Wales' Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. The sound of the river will lull you to sleep at night. 'Torrent Walk' is a circular and scenic path that leads from the ancient bridge at the end of the garden and follows the Clywedog river gorge.

Our Cottage has been refurbished in 2021 providing quality accommodation which is well furnished and equipped with everything that you'll need to feel at home.

Cosy Cottage in Dolgellau Snowdonia Nant Y Glyn

Nant Y Glyn is a charming, traditional Welsh stone cottage which was build in the early 1800s. We have updated the property to give it a fresh comfortable feel but have retained many original features. One of which is the splendid stone fireplace which now houses a log burning stove. The cottage is nestled within the old part of town, located on a quiet street and within a 2 min walk to the shops and restaurants. There is a small enclosed front patio area.
