Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Only 5 miles from the Denver exit of the PA turnpike. 40 minutes from Hershey Park, 20 minutes from Sight and Sound and All major Amish Country attractions and 10 minutes from Antique shopping in Adamstown. We are located right in the center of all the things you come to Lancaster County to see. Close to it all yet back in the woods for some peace and quiet when you’re done for the day.

Located in Amish country & about 10 minutes from great shopping, guests can wake up to peace, quiet and a countryside view. Walk or ride your bike 1 block and your on the beautiful scenic RAIL-TRAIL with easy access to Ephrata, Akron and Lititz! FYI -If you are bringing your pet, the fee is $5 per night for extra cleaning .We love longer stays and offer a 5% discount for 7 days and 10% for 30 days! Come relax and enjoy the view!

The Photographer's Cottage (by paved rail trail)

Welcome to the quaint and happy town of Ephrata. Our cottage is exactly a one mile walk from downtown eateries and activities. Take the sidewalk or the picturesque Linear Park rail trail straight to Main Street. The famous Green Dragon outdoor market (on fridays) is a couple miles away. Many nearby parks and markets attract locals and tourists alike. We had fun decorating the cottage with a bright, industrial and camera/photo theme. We look forward to hosting you.

Our home is within minutes from downtown Ephrata where you can enjoy shopping,sightseeing and lots of great restaurants . We are located within 25 minutes from the town of Intercourse PA. Where you can enjoy a wide variety of Amish quilt and craft shops,take a horse and buggy ride through the country and enjoy Kitchen Kettle Village.
