The Bumbles Cabin on the Lake

Our beautiful cosy cabin has been designed to enable our guests to enjoy our stunning lake and relaxing surroundings alongside our bistro restaurant next door. The cabin is the perfect fishing and relaxing location and we have a healthy stock of large catfish (silure) and carp for your enjoyment. The cabin is suited to fishermen and couples (supplement cost to fish - ask for details) A BBQ, firepit, and a pool (June-September) ensure that your stay will be idyllic in this picturesque setting.

Situated 5 mins from Lake Helene and if you’re looking for peace and tranquility you won’t be disappointed. The 19th century farmhouse has been lovingly restored with a mixture of old and new decor retaining its rustic charm. It offers a very spacious interior and the exterior is set within its own 1.5 acre grounds giving you space to enjoy the panoramic views of the French countryside creates a very relaxing environment. You can enjoy the sun rise on the deck and star gazing in the evening.

La Berthussie

La Berthussie is situated at the edge of Cussac, a village in the Perigord/ limousine nature reserve: soft hills, lakes, historical sites, and lovely walking trails. Our peaceful and spacious house of 240 sq. m can easily host a family of 8. It is surrounded by a vast mature garden, a private pond just 50m from the house, a chestnut orchard and fruit trees. The supermarket is 5 minute walking distance, as are the boulangerie, a cafe- restaurant/ pharmacie and the weekly market square.

Lakeside Retreat in Haute Vienne/Charante, France

Wooden clad Mobile Home on a lakeside retreat, fishing is allowed and we can provide rods and bait if you want to have a go. It is clean and comfortable with it's own exclusive jacuzzi and decking with views of the lake. In the countryside on the border of the Haute Vienne and Charente regions, off the beaten track yet near to amenities such as local bar, a short drive to the Charente Leisure lakes with beaches and restaurants. Rochechouart has a choice of supermarkets and a Chateau.

Châteauponsac dit Perle de la Gartempe est un village fortifié, bâtit sur un éperon rocheux. La maison est une ancienne bergerie surélevée de 2 niveaux jouissant d'un panorama exceptionnel sur la vallée de la Gartempe avec ses jardins en terrasse, son pont dit "romain", le quartier historique du Moustier et l'Eglise Saint Thyrse. Artistes, pêcheurs, randonneurs, passionnés d'histoire et de vieilles pierres nous serions ravis de vous accueillir dans notre belle région du Limousin.

Lakeside cabin with space for 1-4 people. This lovingly restored boathouse will allow you to switch off from the modern world, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

Op een magische plek in het groene hart van Frankrijk staat deze onder architectuur gebouwde villa in een pittoreske vallei aan de rand van de rivier met veel privacy. Het huis is geschikt voor 6 personen. 3 slaapkamers waarvan 1 'bedstee' met ieder een eigen badkamer. Een heerlijke zithoek met houtkachel en een moderne uitgeruste keuken. De glazen façade geeft een fantastisch uitzicht over de vallei. Bakker er kruidenier in het dorp. Om te onthaasten is dit de plek!

Our 1 bedroom apartment has 2 double beds, sofabed with a small double bed mattress. You can divide the bedroom in half with a large curtain. There is a bathroom w/bathtub & sink &WC w/sink. Kitchen equipped w/cookware, plates, silverware, kettle, coffee maker, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, and cooking oil. Don't miss the garden! Walk around the large Moulin, stroll the green path,& discover an oasis of peace right next to the river with table, chairs, and hammocks!
