Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on 8.5 acres with wood fire and queen bed. Rest by the beautiful sound of a year-round running creek and birdsong. The cottage is on a dead-end dirt road and due to the remoteness, is only accessible via car. No public transport is available. A short 15 minute drive to Healesville so easy access to delicious food, wineries and the Yarra Valley. We live in the neighbouring house and available at anytime but far enough away for complete privacy.

Little House on the Hill

The Little House on the Hill at the eastern end of Warburton overlooks the chooks, the veggie patch, the orchard and across the valley to gorgeous 270° views. It is next door to the Big House, set on an acre that slopes down to the Yarra River. A great swimming spot on hot days and a good way to access the town and the rail trail (five minutes there, maybe ten minutes return - uphill). There are plenty of lovely walks nearby including the Aqueduct Trail that starts further up the hill.

Nestled in the Dandenong Ranges, our cosy guesthouse is the perfect space for solo travelers or couples looking to explore the beauty of the area. Within walking distance are a number of cafes and bushwalking tracks. PLEASE NOTE: the accommodation is directly at the back of the main house.
