Welcome! We are delighted to share with you our favorite room in an 1895 Georgian Colonial home. This comfortable sunporch suite is ideal for two guests or a family with a young child. Located in a safe, quiet, and wonderful section of Pittsburgh, we are close to the zoo and Children's Hospital, and a short drive from downtown. This suite has its own separate entrance, bathroom, and kitchenette. The wall-to-wall windows look over the front yard, courtyard, and our neighbor's Victorian home.

I have a lot of natural light, a back deck with a serine view of Pittsburgh neighborhoods and the sunrise. The home is eclectically decorated. Your bedroom is a bit more calmly decorated with the same view as the deck and the morning sun. Located minutes from the Point, downtown's cultural distric, museums, the strip district and even closer to the Stadiums (both PNC Park and Heinz Field).

Tucked away in the hills of Pittsburgh in a removed neighborhood, you'll feel far from the city. This is NOT a hipster, walkable neighborhood. Chirping birds and peace is what you'll awaken to. The house is 7 miles from downtown (30 min drive) and a car or Uber/Lyft is crucial, though the 56 bus to downtown is an easy 5 min walk. Not accessibility friendly--built in 1952, your room is on the 2nd floor, and narrow stairs are needed to access everything. Rooms and doorways are cozy.
