Excellent walks and cycle routes in the area, a wealth of wildlife around, curious sheep that come to the fence and views looking over to Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Fells. There are lots of fantastic eateries nearby. 20 mins from M6 Junction 34.

It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

The cottage consists of an open plan sitting/dining area with sofa bed and a kitchen, upstairs there are 2 good sized double bedrooms (one with twin beds if required), a toilet, shower room with basin, there is another shower room & basin (no toilet) en-suite off the main bedroom. Ingleside Cottage is a 200 year old stone cottage, boasting a quirky layout and impressive split level garden area.  It is ideally situated to explore the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District, including the famous Ingleton Waterfall Trail and Ingleton Cave. Burton-in-Lonsdale is a compact village of 600 residents within a short walking distance from the community shop. The village pub has re-opened (Wed-Sun) but currently not serving food.
