Nord Vue Barn is conveniently situated in the Lakeland village of Penruddock, which benefits from very easy access to the M6. The property was an 18th Century barn which the owners converted to an extremely spacious holiday cottage, with the best of traditional and modern features. It is ideally situated for fell walking, running, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding and other mountain and lake activities. The cottage encourages a hygge-style approach to cosiness, relaxation and wellbeing.

The Cottage at 15th century Sparket Mill

This is the old miller’s cottage of a 15th century mill, situated in secluded part of the Northern Lake District National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. Stay in a unique one bedroom apartment , with its own private entrance, bedroom upstairs with a kingsize bed. There is a downstairs lounge and en-suite. Situated on the corner of a river, surrounded by wildlife and wildflower meadows, only 5 minutes from the shores of Ullswater and 15 from the mountain ranges of Helvellyn and Blencathra.

Free parking on the property's driveway and space also available to store equipment.

We live in the adjoining farmhouse, but you have your own parking area and separate front door. Surrounded by wildlife, trees and traditional farmland, it offers perfect peace and relaxation. The house is located in the village of Stainton which is located 5 mins from the edge of the Lake District. Only 5 minutes from Penrith, 10 minutes from Ullswater and 20 minutes from Keswick!
