The school house

The School House is situated up a tree lined driveway, and offers peaceful, self catering accommodation for 1-3 people. It is an 5 minute drive (3km) from the centre of Te Awamutu. The school house is situated in a rural setting, with beautiful views of the garden and surrounding countryside. Built in the 1880's and operational as a school until 1939, it has a character and history that is unique. Surrounded by trees it has a host of native birds including Tui, Fantails and Kingfishers.

Self Contained Guest Unit

Very Central to do day trips to Rotorua, Taupo, Waitomo caves, Hobbiton. The Hilly House, Private Boutique Accommodation

The Hilly House is a hillside property in the heart of the Whitehall district, surrounded by beautiful rural views. Very private. Outdoor baths for relaxing in peace, star gazing with a glass of wine or two. Our friendly and inquisitive llamas will come over to greet you, you can fine their pellets inside the house. There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Gardeners' Cottage (Breakfast included)

This charming English-style cottage offers tranquil and private country accommodation. Breakfast is included, featuring a selection of muesli, yogurt, toast, and spreads. Inside the cottage, you'll find a convenient kitchenette equipped with a small fridge, microwave, convection oven, hobs, and a toaster. Enjoy a peaceful private apartment (main bedroom, ensuite & kitchenette). 2nd bedroom available which sleeps 3 (internal staircase to our private residence between bedrooms). Surrounded by farmland on the main tourist route between Waitomo/Hobbiton/Rotorua/Karapiro/Cambridge. We live downstairs with our 3 children, cat & dog.
