Smoky Mountain Retreat Cabin is a peaceful rural escape tucked away in the quiet corners of Metchosin. This cozy retreat strikes the perfect balance between comfort and connection to nature. Welcome to simplicity and peace. Tucked in the woods, amid birdsong, this 1-room cottage is a 15 min. walk to local food artisans or 5 min. drive to Ganges. Amenities: High speed Wi-Fi. Microwave. Coffee-maker. Electric kettle. Fridge. Toaster. Induction cooktop. Queen bed with luxurious Casper mattress. 3pc European style bathroom. Laptop-friendly workspace. Free parking. Covered deck for outside dining/relaxation. This hideaway is the perfect spot to unwind or make forays out to island life.

Cobble Hill Cedar Hut

With your own detached bathroom and kitchen about 30m from the Cedar Hut, this can be your cozy, heated one room glamping experience. A private spot on our little farm. We are settled on 9.5 acres which you are Welcome to roam. Farm dogs Klaus (Bernese/Aussie) and Pinkie (Dachsi) are friendly and keep busy with roaming the property. Our horses are your neighbors and you will most likely find us in the garden. Enjoy the tranquility and privacy of your getaway to relax. Two bicycles provided.

Forest Hideout

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

Oceanfront Nature Retreat

Beautiful, custom built, 1000 sq.ft. oceanfront timber frame home on a private 3 acre wooded lot, overlooking the Juan de Fuca Strait. 1 hour + drive from Victoria on the stunning west coast Highway 14, with great access to parks, beaches, hiking trails, world class surfing, fishing and much more. A secluded oasis of West Coast tranquility. Our pair of rustic cabins are perfect for those looking to unplug and immerse themselves in nature (no WiFi). Nestled above the Sooke basin, you can take in the stunning views from our spacious balcony or from our cozy bed. Our sunsets are not to be missed! The main cabin features a new queen bed, a spacious work desk, and a cozy loft bed with a reading nook. The second cabin includes the kitchen, dining area, incinerator toilet, and shower.

The Surf- Ocean Front-By the Beach- Outdoor Bath

Ocean front West Coast retreat located 40 meters above the surf, bordering China Beach. Enjoy beach fires, forest walks, hiking, mushroom forging and surfing. A short intermediate private trail will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight. Cozy up by the wood fire in this cozy 1 king bed cabin or have a bath in the outdoor tub and enjoy the breathtaking views!

Welcome to the Kinsol Cabin! This modern & eco-built cabin is a retreat by the lake. Nestled in the trees, you'll find nothing but peace and tranquility, located a few minutes walk from the famous Kinsol Trestle & the Trans Canada Trail; a haven for hikers, mountain bikers & outdoor enthusiasts. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

The Woodshed

Nestled among towering trees in Jordan River, BC, Woodshed is a serene wellness retreat designed for rest and renewal. Natural wood, clean lines, and expansive windows immerse you in the coastal forest. Unwind in a cedar sauna or hot tub after exploring nearby beaches, surf breaks, and scenic hikes. Fern Gully is a tranquil nature retreat for many to enjoy. The cabins overlook a beautiful lush creek. It is a very private property with no wifi (cell service is in our area). We encourage guests to unplug and enjoy the quiet of BC's beautiful west coast. Minutes from the four private cabins lie many beaches and hikes. Private outdoor shower, washroom & firepit. This is a basic & rustic lodging experience!
