The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

Book farm tours with hot buttered toast and dippy eggs, goat hang out experiences, bee keeping experiences or venture off on one of the many local trails.

Embsay is a quiet village with Bolton Abbey, The Tithe Barn, and Grassington; famous for All Creatures Great and Small, all within easy reach. Embsay has a shop, 2 pubs and a steam railway station. There is a permit parking space at the front of the cottage. Several early morning opening cafes are close by and Marks and Spencers Simply food is just around the corner.
