The peaceful retreat with two cottages set in a woodland oasis. Specifically designed for couples wanting that romantic getaway. Additional features include an outside bath in amongst trees with hot water from a wood fired water heater and a Swedish/Danish styled steam sauna.

Clean comfortable and modern accommodation for up to 4 adults + 2 children. Located 5 mins to Katikati in an orchard setting. The spa is for guests to enjoy situated outside master bedrooms French country doors. A generous outdoor area with comfortable seating. Veiws of countryside and glimpses of the harbour. Both bedrooms accommodate 1xQueen bed each with all linen and towels supplied. Futon couches for extra children or single matress. Master has generous wardrobe space. Birdsong galore!!

Kingfisher cottage -outdoor bath, fire, sauna

King fisher cottage is a tranquil eco cottage set on the rivers edge of 11 acres of wild farmland and beautifully landscaped gardens that offer total privacy. The cottage has a semi-outdoor bath for bathing while star gazing, a kitchenette, living area & bedroom. There is no wifi & minimal phone reception, the perfect place to get away and unwind an enjoy nature. PLEASE NOTE: June through to September the track is too soft for a car so you need to park in the carpark and walk 40m to cottage.

If track is wet , we offer a vehicle for transportation down to the location.

Perfect for singles/couples wanting to explore our beautiful Cambridge, or a one night trip stop-off. We are a 20-25 min walk (5-10 min drive) to Cambridge township amenities incl walking paths, Lake Te Ko Utu Domain/shops, and wonderful cafes/restaurants. The velodrome and Te Awa River Ride are a short drive away. Cambridge is the jewel of the Waikato!

Wainui River Glamping

A cute private glamping set-up nestled in the trees alongside the Wainui River. Here, you'll have a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with power, a cosy cabin with a comfy queen-sized bed, a hot outdoor shower and bath. Explore the beautiful Wainui river on our two-person kayak or curl up with a book and do absolutely nothing at all. There are also plenty of hikes in the area. Pets (inc horses) are welcome. Experience our bespoke, solar powered cabin, very rustic, basic ammenities but surrounded by nature. With an outdoor bath, ( not hot tub) overlooking the river. This private area is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with yourself. Wear covering clothing outdoors for insects 15 minutes from Hobbiton, close to Te Waihou Blue spring and the beautiful Waiwere falls Arriving at night, follow the solar lights. Dogs are welcome but no aggressive dogs and a lead is required when walking.

The cabin is in a beautiful location on a 2 acre lifestyle block, perched on the hill with picturesque views overlooking the valley. The river to the falls is located just down the hill, and you can usually hear the river bubbling away whilst relaxing and enjoying the views from your own private deck. It’s peaceful and quiet here. We have a few farm animals -Isabella the calf, 🐮, and Furball 🐱 who might pop in. We also rent out E bikes for hire so send me a msge if you are keen.

This cosy, modern cabin is set in a private garden right next to a stream. Surrounded by native bush and tall poplars, it’s the perfect place to switch off and unwind. The cabin has a comfy queen bed, tea & coffee facilities, and a bathroom with a shower. Outside, there’s a covered deck with BBQ & table setting to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There is no phone reception at the cabin, a perfect time to switch off.
