This cottage has an additional vanity in one of bedrooms offering extra comfort to this historic cottage. The outdoor hot and cold shower brings another dimension to vacationing on the river & enjoying the river breeze!

The Yates Cottage

Welcome to the beauty and nature of Core Sound! The Yates Cottage is directly on the water and is designed for spectacular views of Core Sound and Cape Lookout Lighthouse with large windows on 3 sides. Other amenities are a large screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs, joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

Dockside Daze is a beautiful waterfront home overlooking the Neuse River. Relax on the back deck with a glass of wine while watching the sunset view of the New Bern skyline. It’s just a five-minute drive to historic downtown New Bern where you will find great restaurants and plenty of unique, local shops. This property does not have sufficient parking for trailers. Due to allergies, no pets. Check out 5:00pm Sundays only.

Wooded setting with occasional sightings of deer, wild turkey, owls, and hawks. Quiet and peaceful! Perfect place to relax and unwind. Convenient to Bayboro, Vanceboro, Cherry Point, Havelock, Morehead City and the beach.(No cleaning fee.)

Carriage House on the Neuse River

It is a perfect place to rest and relax and enjoy country, river life. The carriage house is 650 sq feet of open living space with a full bath, queen size bed, living area and full size kitchen on the second floor of our carriage house. It is private. There is a deck with wonderful views of boating and sunsets. You have access to our dock for sun bathing, fishing and swimming.

Cottage by the Neuse River

There is access to the river and shared beach on the property. Kayak and paddle boards available to use after signing a 'release form'. Enjoy a beautiful sunrise or have a bonfire at night on the beach and watch the moon rise. Please be aware that broken glass can wash up from the river, so bring water shoes. The river is approximately 150 yard walk down a mild sloping yard.
