Relax, explore and unwind in this large, cosy apartment on our organic farm, in the foothills of the Serra da Gardunha mountains. Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

If you're in the mood for nature, relaxation or outdoor activities... Casa Raposa's lodges are made for you. Our 30m2 lodge is a large open-plan living area with a bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. The bathroom is enclosed for added privacy :) Enjoy a 20m2 south-facing terrace all day long. This lodge has a double bed and a comfortable single sofa bed. We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Towels & linens provided. Discounts for weekly bookings.

The house is located in the Mondego River Valley on walking distance of a beautifull isolated riverbeach. A great place to get away from the stressed world. Excellent for a couple or an individual who loves the simplicity, purity and silence of nature. The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.

On request, adult and child bikes can be dispensed.

Tem as comodidades adequadas para uns dias sossegados, com aquecimento de ar-condicionado e electrico, um frigorífico, um micro-ondas, um pequeno fogão de indução, uma cafeteira elétrica, um liquidificador, um grelhador a gaz e outro a carvão no exterior e máquina de café (cápsulas Delta).

Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home. Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).No access by car (parking 200 meters away)

Quinta das Sesmarias

A Quinta das Sesmarias situa-se na periferia urbana da Vila de Alcains, sendo uma propriedade com 3,5ha que mantém as características rurais do início do século XX. A primeira construção data de 1928 e foi recuperada em 2002 sob a forma de uma moradia. O descanso e o bem-estar dos visitantes são assegurados por um ambiente tranquilo em contacto com a natureza.
