Originally designed to be a ski chalet in the 1970s, this extraterrestrial Futuro home has since landed on Marlborough Point, a peninsula bordered by the Potomac River, Accokeek Creek and the Crow's Nest Nature Preserve. This unit resides on the owner's property, but still offers a secluded feel being buried in the woods. Whether you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of northern Virginia or just want to experience nature in a not so normal way, this is sure to check the box.

The Tobacco Barn

A high-peaked ceiling and exposed-log crossbeams reveal the Tobacco Barn’s past life as a place for hanging tobacco leaves to dry. Now converted to a one-room guest house, it features a front porch swing, cozy fireplace, soapstone floors, a homey sitting area, and a tall, high-post bed. The pressed-tin ceiling and whiskey-barrel sink in the bathroom add to its charm. Pets are allowed and are charged a fee of $25 (first night) and $15 (per ea. add'l night). Maximum two-person occupancy.

For four generations, it has been a sanctuary for our family-filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.

Little beach area (depending tides/rain level) and dogs welcome!
