The Barn is situated in a stunning and idyllic location surrounded by nature, and yet within easy access to the Village and the start of the main Snowdon footpath.The Barn has been sensitively restored and maintains many of it's original features,including crog loft (upstairs sleeping area with limited head room, accessed via steep stairs) and exposed beam ceilings.The 7.5 acres of land are situated directly behind the barn. This comfortable, updated stone-built cottage is the ideal base for an adventurous break in the Snowdonia National Park. At the base of the Nant Peris Valley, one of the most dramatic in Britain, it is perfectly located for climbing Snowdon. The accommodation is great for one or two couples, or a small family. In our tiny village of Nant Peris we have a great local pub with ales, good food and an inglenook fire a stroll from your front door. Castles,beaches and adventures- Snowdonia has it all.

Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Located within the picturesque village of Nant Peris, Terfyn is a 100m from the Snowdon long stay car park that has regular buses to Pen-y-Pass car park for hikers wanting to climb Yr Wyddfa. It is also a 300m walk to Vaynol Arms pub, where you can pop in for a well deserved traditional pub dinner and drink after a long climb. Terfyn Cottage is the perfect location to enjoy everything Snowdonia National Park has to offer.

Cwm yr Wrach, our lovely traditional slate-floored Grade 2-listed early 19th cottage is a little off-the road - and close to Snowdon itself. From Nant Peris Park & Ride parking, it's a <10 minute walk and carry. Perfect for walking, climbing, cycling, writing, painting, or simply being off the beaten track. Wood fires (fuel provided) and sheets, towels &c. Fully-equipped kitchen. Cycle storage. The Vaynol Arms is 5 minutes walk. Llanberis: about 5 miles.
