Sesmarias Mel is a traditional “Alentejana” style home located amongst the gorgeous rolling hills of the Alentejo region. The 90 ha property is situated just outside the quaint village of Cercal do Alentejo and is surrounded by the meadows and ancient cork-oak trees that are iconic to this part of Portugal. The tracks that pass the property and lead into the scenic surroundings provide ample opportunities for hiking/biking, and the beautiful beaches of the Alentejan Coast are a short drive away.

Of je kan genieten van onze kleine boerderij, het pijnbomen bosje waar het zalig is om te verkoelen tijdens warme zomerdagen. Our home is an agricultural cottage renovated into an open plan loft with 3 bedrooms (2 in mezzanine open style/no privacy/no tall people) located in the traditional Alentejo hills and 30min drive from beaches and surf schools of the Vicentina Coast. The village of Cercal is 10 min drive away. We both grew up in the area since babies and therefore we love coming here throughout the year. Having this 'monte' is a refuge for us which we enjoy to connect with nature and the sea.
