Otter lake cottage

The Otter Lake Cottage is in a small fishing village with beaches 6mi. It sets on 3/4 acre with a concrete grill area out back ,plenty of parking space if you want to bring your boat canoe or bikes. Large covered porch on the front. There is beautiful rivers for canoeing or swimming, great fishing it is also less than a mile away from the Gulf. Wakulla has great Seafood restaurant'syou can dine over the water or by it. We have a park for kids and the Gulf Marine lab where they can touch and learn about sea turtles and all marine life. This is the perfect place to have a quiet get away. Otter Lake is a great place to walk it has bald eagles bird trails walking trails a great place for picnics. It's located in the national forest just down the rd.

You'll enjoy the play of sun and clouds on the pond from inside or on the huge deck as the sun crosses the sky each day-followed by pure darkness and moonlight. This cottage is a birders, stargazers and wildlife lovers dream come true. Otters, osprey, bears and eagles await you at the Refuge on the Water.

You are only minutes from St. James Golf club, Carrabelle (7 miles away with public beach), St. George Island, Panacea and Apalachicola. Swimming not recommended (more like a bay).
